BUT, there are so many kid-friendly Halloween movies, and not all of them are featured on television each year. Here's a list of kid-friendly Halloween-themed movies.

I would add "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" to this list. It was made in 1966, and stars Don Knotts as a scared-of-his shadow newspaper reporter who is assigned to do a story on a haunted house. Good wholesome movie...
