Summer will be before you know it. The kids will be out of school soon and trust me, you don't want to be without something to do should a rainy day befall you.
Below is a list of Summer Movies for Kids programs that are run by the BIG movie theater chains. Hopefully there's a participating theater near you.
Starting in most locations in June, these movie theater chains are offering different kids movie days with reduced price tickets. Movies offered are rated G or PG. If you want to participate, please either buy tickets in advance or arrive early, as most locations will offer first come, first served seating for these events.
- Carmike Movie Theaters are showing kids movies in their Summer Kids Series on Thursday mornings at 10 AM. $4.00 includes admission, small popcorn, and a small drink per person, per movie. Visit their website linked above to see which theater near you is participating.
- Cinemark Theaters are showing kids movies in their Summer Movie Clubhouse. If purchased in advance at the box office or at the website linked above, one pass for all 10 movies is $5.00 per person. If purchased individually, tickets are $1.00 per person, per movie.
- Regal Entertainment Group is showing kids movies in their Summer Movie Express on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10 AM. Admission is $1.00 and a portion of the proceeds collected will be donated to the Will Rogers Institute.
