Ghostly Gala

Yes, yes, I know Halloween is still a couple of months away, but you know it's still not too early to start at least *thinking* about what neat new tricks you might want to try for this Halloween. 

This one caught my eye.  Use chicken wire to make mesh ghostly figures for your yard, and then spray paint with glow in the dark paint.  That paint is the best part of this idea for sure.  How spooky! I love it.  These ladies are invited to my yard anytime.

Happy Sister's Day!

I bet you didn't know that the first Sunday in August is designated as "Sister's Day." Never fear, you can count on the Harris Sisters to keep you informed about this and other important events!

That about sums up what having sisters is like.

Just look at this old photo of us. Deanna and I were in college and Misty was in high school. And we were cracking ourselves up (as Harris sisters are prone to do - what with our stellar sense of humor). You would have thought by the way we were acting that we were back in elementary school!

So, get in touch with your sister today and tell her Happy Sister's Day. And if you don't have a sister, I'm thinking you missed out on some serious fun. You can be an honorary Harris Sister if you'd like! (We promise to share all of our good times right here on the blog.)

Then vs. Now

I came across this infographic titled Then vs. Now. My how things have changed, and yet I bet you can still recognize some of the older things (like the popular stores or powerful companies from 1913).

That's right! In the early 1900's Dorothy and Robert were popular names (our parents' names) and now, Aiden, Jackson, and Emma are popular names. Why, we Harris Sisters have an Aidyn, a Jaxon, and an Emma of our own!

 

So, two Harris generations are represented here, which I think is pretty awesome. How is your family represented?
