I hope you realize that is a rhetorical question. After all, Adam Sandler recorded the Thanksgiving Song simply because there were no songs about Thanksgiving at the time. However, just with my other handy playlists Valentine's Day, Spring, Patriotic, Halloween, Christmas, I have put together a list of music that is Thanksgiving-adjacent (and some of it is tongue-in-cheek).
Now, should you drop the needle on THIS whist Aunt Mildred is sitting down to the green bean casserole? That would be an emphatic no. (I mean, she MIGHT appreciate the Fat Boys' dope beats, but I'm guessing that would be a stretch for anyone's Aunt Mildred.)
I would dare say, however, that this list might liven up your day-long cooking session BEFORE the family arrives or the car ride EN ROUTE to said family gathering. So, give these songs a listen. After all, Thanksgiving's a special night . . . like Jimmy Walker they might make you say Dynamite! :-)
