Happy Halloween from Music City

This year's Halloween will go down as our best yet.  It was Lexi's first Halloween, which made it super special for us, of course.  Here she is all dolled up and ready to go for her first Halloween out on the town.

And here she is with her sister, Izzie the Wonder Pup.

I have always had a soft spot for lambs, and these two couldn't have been more precious.

But dressing up was literally just the beginning of our night.  For the first time ever, we decided to head into Downtown Franklin to see what was shaking there on Halloween night.  For years, I have heard the hype that it was the place to be.  Let me say it did not disappoint.  It was a cold and blustery night, so that puffed up little lamb costume came in handy.  We all bundled up and headed out.  Here are some of the snaps from our night out.

The streets were bustling with activity.  All the houses were spooked out in their finest.  Kids, adults, and dogs alike were all in costume.  The crowds were thick and there was excitement in the air, along with fog, smoke, and the sounds of ghosts and goblins. We snapped pictures as Lexi rode along in her stroller.  Eventually, we meandered down to the Starbucks for some liquid warmth.  And then settled in to take in a band that one of the houses had playing on their front porch.  Only in Nashville; let me tell you.  I loved it!!

What a night!  But now the witching hour has come, and it's time for this family to turn in.  I hope your Halloween was just as fun as ours!  Looking forward to next year already!

  1. Wonderful pictures of your family night out! Loved them all, especially the ones of the" baby doll" you had with you. Such a sweetheart!
